7 months old

My monthly photo shoot is getting harder and harder.  Jordan has become a little more wiggly and mobile.  Not crawling yet.  He's is such a happy baby.  We did go through a little spurt where he was cranky here and there and wasn't sleeping all the way through the night.  That was a rough patch.  I'm sure it was a growth spurt.  Some milestones he has come to this month are drinking out of a sippy, eating real table food (he prefers this over regular baby food and cries when he sees us eat it and I don't give him any)  This makes me nervous because of my fear of choking.

Jordan's loves right now:  sitting up, he gets mad when we lay him down.
watching Dre and Snoop, if Dre is around he won't get mad
Elmo, we are talking like obsessed.  He gets so excited whenever we give
him an Elmo.  We will probably have an Elmo party for his first
                                                    birthday
sleeps on his belly, he will roll over so he can.  He also has to have his little
blanket to be able to fall asleep.
                                         thumb
clap, when he gets excited he claps
stick his tongue out and make noises
                                         play with his feet

He is such a good, happy baby.  We love him so much.  He has brought such joy to all of us.

Spring Break in Pictures

We had a great spring break.  We just stayed around our house, but it was very relaxing and got me so excited for summer.  It was great weather so we were able to be outside a lot.  The pictures explain some of the things we did.  Jordan learned a new trick (sitting up),  we watched movies as a family, Dre and Jordan played together, we put water under the tramp for Dre and Jordan sat on a blanket and played, we went to Boondocks, Matt painted our shutters, Dre played with friends almost everyday, and we had Garrett, Sue, and their kids over.  We love having them over and Dre loves playing with Tate.  I also was able to go to a late movie one night with my book club friends.  It was nice to have some girl time with no kids.  We saw Divergent.  I also met up with Shannon for dinner and some shopping, but I brought Jordan with me.  Spring break is always much needed and this year especially. Can't wait for summer!

Where did 6 months go??

That's right!  Jordan is 6 months old.  I can't even believe it.  It makes me so sad because he is not a newborn anymore.  He is turning into a baby.  He is so big that he even seems older than a 6 month old.  Here is his 6th month photo
These are all the things about him right now, but I forgot a few.  He is very ticklish.  When I say he loves Elmo I am not joking.  He will get the biggest smile and start waving his arms like crazy to grab him.  He gives the best little loves and will cuddle into my neck.  He has the cutest little laugh.  He loves watching Dre.  All Dre has to do is look at him and he will smile.  He is starting to suck his thumb more often, but mostly when he is tired.  He is very easy to put down for bed.  Doesn't take very long naps, but they are good enough to keep him happy.  We couldn't love him more.
Here is another pic of us cuddling and watching Frozen.  Our new favorite movie.

St. George-the last baseball trip for awhile

It's crazy to think that we have been going down to St. George for softball/baseball for like 15 yrs. and this is the last trip for awhile.  There are no more baseball playin kids in our family probably all the way until Dre is old enough and even then maybe he won't play either.  We had to make the most of this one.  Jami, mom, and I with the little kids went down on Wednesday after school so that we could play all day Thursday before baseball started.  We went swimming and out to eat.

Friday and Saturday we went to 4 games of Ethen's.  He did great for not playing in 7 months.  They went 2-2.  The kids went to both games on Friday and they did awesome at the games.  They had so much fun playing with each other.

But on Saturday Randy was nice enough to stay back with the kids and let them play.  He also took them on a hike and to the dollar store for a toy.  I'm sure they had way more fun then sitting at 2 more games.

Jordan was a champ through all 4 games.  On Friday night all the adults except mom went to see the Veronica Mars movie.  The funny thing is that the only showing was in Vegas.  It was a fun night but also very tiring.  We didn't get home until 3 in the morning.  Good movie and great company so it was great!
I love spending time with my family.  I wish we could do it more often.

Jordan at 5 months

Jordan is 5 months old.  He is the happiest, easiest baby.  He has been sick pretty much this whole month, but you wouldn't know it cause he's still been happy.  He got RSV and an ear infection this month.  He slept in his car seat most nights while he was sick because he needed to be elevated.  That way he slept through the night and I was able to get sleep too.  We had to take him in again to get suctioned out, but he wasn't that bad so that was good.  Things about Jordan at 5 months:

*sucks his thumb to put himself to sleep
*loves his little blanket and will fall asleep fast if its on him
*sleeps 11 hrs
*rolls to the side but has not rolled over yet
*smiles at anyone who looks at him
*laughs hysterically at Dre
*watches everything Dre does
*eats 5 times a day
*tried cereal, but he didn't get it so we are waiting a little longer
*doesn't like to lay flat in your arms, likes to be sitting up
*scratches face if nails aren't clipped
*has exema pretty bad so he got a prescription
*likes his saucer
*starting to grab feet but its hard over his chubby belly
*as of today he has his first bottom tooth

We sure love our brother as we call him and are so glad he's in our family.

President's Day Weekend

Dre, Jordan, and I were suppose to be in Disneyland for President's day but Jordan ended up getting RSV so we had to stay home.  It was suppose to be a girls trip with my sisters and mom so that was a huge bummer.  But we made the most of our weekend and had fun with daddy.  On Saturday we went to eat at Pizza Pie Cafe.  It was pretty good.  I loved the salad bar.  After we went to Best Buy to buy some movies to watch that day but I realized I had forgotten the diaper bag which had the wallet in it at Pizza Pie Cafe.  So, we had to go back and get it and buy that time we didn't want to do the movie thing.

On Monday we went bowling.  We always have a good time bowling.  Dre loves pushing the ball down the little ramp.  We bowled 3 games but none of us did very good.  Then we had lunch there.  While we waited for our lunch Matt and Dre played some games and won a bunch of tickets so Dre got to pick a bunch of little toys.
