Its been a crazy couple of weeks, but at the same time I haven't done much. I was waiting to post about Dre at 4 months until I went to his appt. Then on Sunday he came down with an eye infection so I didn't come to work yesterday, so I couldn't post. Anyways, here are the stats at 4 months:
**weight: 14.6 40%
**height: 26.5 92%
He is long and skinny. He did not do that good with the doctor. As soon as the nurse came in he started crying. Then the doctor came in and he started crying. He was already crying when the nurse went to give him shots, so I don't know if he was crying from the shots or her. The cries were cries I had never heard from him so I don't know what to think about that. As soon as I picked him up he was fine.
Dre at 4 months:
only wants binky when he is totally ready for bed
laughs hysterically at things Matt does( I sometimes think he loves him more because of this)
loves to give 5(or just clapping his hands together)
loves peek a boo
drooling like no other (I think we are getting close to teething)
blows bubbles and spits all the time
chomps on his tongue
moved to the fast nipple
has to have his arm covering his eyes while he eats (see picture)
ate rice for the first time (loves it! I almost think he would rather eat this than have a bottle)
sleeps 11-12 hrs at night
not a great napper still (takes little cat naps throughout the day. Any suggestions on how to fix this?)
likes to sit up (with help)
plays on the play mat with his feet
loves his stuffed MIckey Mouse (it talks!)
has to have his face covered still when he sleeps (its getting really scary cause he pulls the blanket up in his crib)
talks non stop and has started to scream
loves to cuddle with mommy (and give kisses and hugs)
Here are some recent pictures
I was going to send Christmas cards out this year but haven't had a lot of time so here is the picture I was going to use.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Dre's first feeding (rice)
I can not get enough of this little guy. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Every time I look at him I get so excited that he is mine. He makes me so happy! I love him more and more every day.

Thanksgiving Break
It was such a good break. I was able to spend so much time with Dre and I loved it. He is constantly learning new things and I love watching him grow. It was so hard yesterday at school. I missed him so much. I did a lot of fun things this weekend here are some highlights:Had Thanksgiving at my house
just had to throw this one in!
Went Black Friday shopping with my sisters and mom and my sisters friend. We pulled an all-nighter at Walmart and you can tell by the picture (not so cute) I didn't get a pic with all of us but this is with my sister Kelli and her friend Jen. We went to breakfast after. Its a great tradition and we got lots of great stuff!!
On Saturday another tradition is to go to Matt's parents house for the BYU vs. Utah game. It is so fun. I love to watch Matt's dad get so into the game. It's definitely a highlight of my year.
Also, we got a new Christmas tree because we are in a house and our tree from the condo was to small. I love it and it looks so good in our front room in front of the window. I love this time of year and I can't wait to spend more time with my baby! Only 16 more days of school! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Moon=Girls Night Out
Marina, Me, Melissa,Linda (all in-laws)
We were suppose to go see New Moon on Dec. 4 but none of us wanted to wait so at the last minute on Friday night we bought tickets and ended up going at 10:30. It was so much fun. We had to wait in line and the conversations are always very interesting so it made the waiting go faster. The movie was great if your into the series. There were of course the one liners that were still pretty cheesy. I have always been a Jacob fan and the movie just proved why I am:) Anyways, thanks girls for a fun night! Let's do it again soon.

Proud Mama
My baby rolled over last night. He has been rolling to the sides for like a week and a half and last night he went all the way. It's funny because he wasn't even going for a toy he just rolled to the side and I think he got to much momentum and he landed on his tummy. He had a face like "what just happened" I think it was a fluke. I don't think he'll do it again for awhile, but I was so excited for him. It's sad though because this is just another milestone that means he's growing up, and I'm not ready for that yet.

Should I be worried...

We found this show on Nick Jr called Yo Gabba Gabba. Have any of you heard or seen this show? Well, this guy is kind of like the host of the show and every time he comes on the screen Dre starts to smile and gets really excited. Should I be worried? I'm sure it's just because it is a close up and he looks like he is really talking to you and he is really animated. It's so funny to watch Dre watch it though. He loves this show! It's a nice filler when I have to do something quick. Don't judge me:(

Thankful for my baby boy!
I was playing with Dre last night and I started thinking how grateful I am to have such a happy, healthy, little baby. I feel truly blessed to have him in my life. I've never known so much joy! I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father has trusted me with his child and that is is Dre that is here. I can't imagine my life without him and I'm so glad Matt and I were finally blessed with this baby. He amazes me everyday with the new things he is learning. He is in a beginning process of rolling over. He rolls all the way to the side and acts like he is going to do it, but then lets go. That one arm is still holding him back. He is moving all over the place though. He wiggles until he has rotated 180. Like this morning I went to get him and he had completely rotated all the way at 180. I really can't believe how fast time goes. It makes me sad that he is growing up so quick. I love my baby and my life!

Play Date with the Larsens
Dre being fussy. I feel bad cause he was fussy the next day and I can't seem to figure it out yet.
Tate playing with his toys
being separated after the eye poke
going for the eye
the cute little boys
Our weekend was so fun! We had our friends come over to our house for a play date. Obviously it was a play date for our little guys (but mostly for us) For some reason Dre had a bad night though because he was fussing. Sorry guys that he was so upset I promise we really do have a good baby. But we had lunch and just talked and laughed. It's always fun to get together. I left my camera at my mom's so Sue took some pics of the boys. All day the boys were looking at each other and finally we put them next to each other. Tate is a few months older than Dre so he was the first to touch and he got Dre in the eye. (not on purpose of course) Dre was fine and we got a few good pics of them. Lets get together again soon guys!
